The all-new MoYu RS3M 2021 Magnetic speed cube with MagLev technology is a revolutionary improvement to the extremely popular MoYu RS3M 2020 speed cube, which is one of the year's best-selling cubes.
This is one of the first factory-built speed cubes to employ a groundbreaking new magnet levitation tensioning mechanism, rather than the spring tensioning method found in the RS3M and almost every other speed cube ever created.
Two repelling magnets are used in the new MagLev technology to produce the necessary compression and tension for the speed cube's tensioning mechanism. All of the benefits of this fantastic cube, such as the appearance and feel, as well as functions like corner cutting and reverse corner cutting, are shared by the 2020 version of the RS3M. Naturally, the magnets add around 5 grams to the weight of the cube, making it slightly heavier than the prior edition.
